Выставка работ Евгении Ивановны Стерлиговой «Серый квадрат и не только...» открылась в выставочном зале УрГАХУ.
Евгения Ивановна - Заслуженный художник РФ, почетный профессор УрГАХУ. Преподавала на кафедре рисунка с 1978 по 2020 годы.
Проиллюстрировала 200 книг, среди них произведения Сергея Другаля, Самуила Маршака, Энн и Серж Голон, Виталия Бугрова, Натальи Соломко, Сергея Лукьяненко, Клиффорда Саймака, Рэя Брэдбери, Кира Булычева и других отечественных и зарубежных авторов. Сотрудничала с издательствами: Средне-Уральское книжное издательство, Уральский следопыт, Лабиринт, Сократ, Издательский дом Мещерякова, Детская литература.
В качестве художника-постановщика работала над известными мультфильмами «Всё дело в шляпе», «Лето в Муми-доле», «В Муми-дол приходит осень», созданными на студии «Свердловсктелефильм» в 1980-1983 годах.
Но для множества читателей она остается «любимым иллюстратором Владислава Крапивина» и Почетным командором отряда «Каравелла».
Коллеги, друзья, ученики поздравили Евгению Ивановну c открытием выставки, выразили ей свои наилучшие пожелания и слова поддержки.
Барабанщики отряда «Каравелла» и детской парусной флотилии «Флагман» добавили торжественности мероприятию, выражая уважение своему Почетному командору.
Выставка продлится до 20 мая. А осенью будет представлена в Духовно-просветительском центре «Патриаршее подворье». Экспозиция дополнится иллюстрациями к циклу произведений Клайва Льюиса «Хроники Нарнии», работу на которыми Евгения Ивановна завершила недавно.
Exhibition of artworks by Eugenia Sterligova «Gray Square and More» unveiled in the Display Hall of the Ural State University of Architecture and Art
Eugenia Sterligova is Honored Artist of the Russian Federation and Professor Emeritus of the Ural State University of Architecture and Art. She taught students here at the Department of Drawing from 1978 to 2020.
Eugenia Sterligova illustrated over 200 books, including those written by Sergey Drugal, Samuel Marshak, Anne and Serge Golon, Vitaly Bugrov, Natalia Solomko, Sergey Lukyanenko, Clifford Simak, Ray Bradbury, Kir Bulychev and other Russian and foreign authors. She collaborated with various publishers, such as the Middle Urals Book Publishing House, the Ural Sledopyt, Labirynth, Socrates, Meshcheryakov Publishing House, Children’s Literature.
She also performed as Art Director in the production of the well-known animation films «It’s in the Hat», «Summer in Moomindale», «Autumn Comes to Moomindale», created at Sverdlovsktelefilm Studio in 1980-1983.
However, for lots of readers she is the «favorite illustrator of Vladislav Krapivin’s books» and Honorary Commander of the Caravelle Team.
Colleagues, friends and students congratulated Eugenia Sterligova with the opening of the exhibition and expressed their best wishes and words of support.
Drummers from the Caravelle Team and the children’s Flagship Fleet added to the solemnity of the event by expressing respect to their Honorary Commander.
The exhibition will be open till May 20th. In the autumn, it will be shown in the “Patriarchal Metochion” spiritual education center. The display will also include the series of illustrations to the Chronicles of Narnia by Clive Lewis recently completed by Eugenia.
